MicroPower Direct announces its LF200D series of ultra-miniature 2W DC/DC converters. Packaged in an SMT case, these converters provide a combination of power, performance and miniature size. Seven models operate from 5V DC, 12V DC and 24V DC inputs, providing dual outputs of ±5V DC, ±12V DC or ±15V DC. Standard features include efficiency as high as 82 percent, an input/output isolation of 1,000V DC and low noise operation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 2.0 Mhours. All models are RoHS compliant, and cooling is by free-air convection. Applications include data acquisition subsystems, telecommunications equipment, battery powered or battery backed equipment, industrial control and automation systems, and board level power distribution subsystems.
