Epcos offers power capacitor chips for alternate drive train management in hybrid- and fuel cell-powered drives. Development work on the HEV power train has emphasized electric drive efficiency. The capacitors provide bus voltage ratings to 1,000V DC, capacitance values to 3,000 µF, maximum fill ratio and temperatures to 125°C and short excursions to 135°C.
