Industrial-Grade PC Storage CardNetlist released an , the second in the company's series of solid-state solutions for the Industrial Flash market. This Type II devicethat performs the same function as a hard disk drive and is designed for mission-critical applications requiring high levels in data integrity including telecommunications, voting, and military systems. It features a controlled Bill-of-Materials (BOM) and 64 MB to 16 GB densities of nonvolatile storage. According to the company's benchmarking tests and ongoing OEM evaluations, the PC Card provides a sustained read performance increase of 10 percent and a sustained write performance increase of 100 percent when compared to other single-channel PC Card offerings. The PC Card uses a 32-bit RISC processor, which incorporates an ECC engine and wear-leveling algorithm, and the latest Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND flash architecture. The card is able to support a wide range of temperatures and is manufactured with industrial temperature range components. Temperature support capabilities for Commercial temperatures range from 0°C to 70°C, while Industrial temperatures range from -40°C to +85°C.
