The DSS-3305, from Beta Transformer Technology, purportedly provides the smallest footprint dual channel transformer on the market, while satisfying the maximum height limit of 0.185” (4.7 mm). It is supposedly the smallest 2 channel transformer solution for VME boards. The DSS-3305 is designed for 5 V MIL-STD-1553 transceivers. This dual ratio transformer enables board layouts to accommodate both transformer coupled (Turns Ratio 1:1.79) and direct coupled (Turns Ratio 1:2.5) applications and meets all the requirements of the MIL-PRF-21038 specification. It operates over the full Mil-temp range of -55oC to 130oC.
