Pickering Interfaces introduced its Model 40-262 high accuracy resistance temperature detector simulator that is an 18-channel variable resistor module designed to simulate the operation of PT100 and PT1000 RTDs with resolution and accuracy in the PXI form factor. The detector provides an accuracy of more than 0.1 percent for all resistance settings, allowing RTDs to be simulated with accuracy. Power Monitor Measures Current and Voltage

Linear Technology Corp. introduced its LTC4151 high side power monitor that measures current and input voltages from 7V to 80V. The monitor uses an internal 12-bit ADC to continuously measure both high side current and input voltage to give a true power reading. USB DAQ Delivers Increase Accuracy

Providing a 4× increase in resolution over traditional 16-bit devices (equivalent to more than 5½ digits of resolution for DC measurements), the National Instruments USB-6281 and USB-6289 DAQ modules feature an 18-bit analog input and ADC with sampling rates up to 625 kS/s (500 kS/s when scanning). The devices deliver an accuracy of 980 µV at ±10 V and 28 µV at ±100 mV and come with NI-DAQmx driver software and LabVIEW SignalExpress LE, measurement workbench. With features including programmable range and offset, the USB-6281 offers 16 SE and 8 DI analog input channels, two analog output channels, and 24 DIO channels while the USB-6289 has 32 SE and 16 DI analog input channels, four analog output channels, and 48 DIO channels.
