Mezzanine Connectors

PTFE-Based Sealing Material

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions announced its Turcon Variseal PTFE-based system that is compatible with virtually all chemical media. Combined with optimal wear resistance and friction characteristics, it has the ability to withstand extreme operating temperatures. The system is energized with a spring fitted into the seal profile that is fully enclosed within a case so there is no possibility of metal extractables entering the system.

Stackable Plug-Connector System Increases Installation Flexibility

Phoenix Contact introduced its T-Box and M12 adapter cover as part of its DUPLICON product range that offer installation flexibility. The T-Box is a compact alternative to stackable power distributor sets, and its contact insert has two screw connections per terminal for looping the power cable. Ironwood Electronics introduced their high performance BGA ZIF socket for 0.4 mm pitch BGA. The SG-BGA-7096 socket is designed for a Shinko 12 mm package size; operate at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with less than 1dB of insertion loss.
