Measuring 1.0 mm × 0.5 mm × 0.25 mm, Avago Technologies’ VMMK-1218 and -1225 field effect transistors (FETs) occupy less than 5 percent the volume of a standard SOT-343 package. The VMMK-1225 supports 0.5 GHz to 26.5 GHz frequency ranges with a noise figure of less than 0.95 dB and 12 dB available gain under 50 ohms conditions at 12 GHz.
