Seven-channel, NMOS low-side driver targets high-voltage systems

Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX) introduced what it asserts is the industry’s first seven-channel, NMOS low-side driver. The TPL7407L is positioned to replace half of the transistor arrays required to drive high current loads, providing a new option for high voltage systems.

Allegro MicroSystems, LLC announces a new programmable multi-output LED driver for LCD backlighting, instrument clusters, and daytime running lights. Allegro’s A8517 integrates a current-mode boost converter with internal power switch and 10 I²C programmable current sinks, and can provide 5,000:1 contrast ratio PWM dimming at 200 Hz.
