ProTek Devices’ GBLC series of TVS arrays are ideal for embedded transient voltage protection in numerous applications such as Ethernet; USB; smartphones; other portable electronics; and more. All parts offer a low clamping voltage and are RoHS and REACH compliant. They are compatible with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): Air – 15kV, Contact – 8kV and with IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A – 5/50 nanoseconds. They protect 1 power or I/O port. The GBLCSC08CLC and GBLCSC series are provided with low-leakage current in a miniature SC-79 package. The GBLLC03 and GBLLC03C; GBLCxxI and GBLCxxCI and GBLCxxLC series; and the GBLC03CIHP, are provided with low-leakage current in a miniature SOD-323 package.

SRV25-4 Steering Diode / TVS Array

ProTek Devices’ SRV25-4 is a dual-USB port protection array that features ultra low capacitance (3.5pF typical). It provides ESD protection (> 25 kilovolts). It can clamp effects of electrical fast transients (EFT) on the power bus. The SRV25-4 combines 8 low capacitance steering diodes for up to 4 individual data or transmission lines and 1 TVS diode for power bus protection. It is available in the space-saving DFN-10 package, which minimizes lead inductance to prevent overshoot voltages during high ESD current events. It meets IEC 61000-4-2, 61000-4-2; 61000-4-5; and 61000-4-4 requirements. It is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet; smartphones; portable electronics; video card interfaces; USB 2.0 and DVI interfaces.

PLR0524P Steering Diode / TVS Array

ProTek Devices’ PLR0524P is an ultra low capacitance (0.4pF typical [I/O to I/O]) steering diode / TVS array. This device is designed to protect computing applications such as Gigabit Ethernet; DVI, HDMI and USB interfaces; high speed data lines; FireWire, SATA and PCIe interfaces; and IEEE 1394 to 3.2Gbps. It’s also ideal in telecommunications equipment and systems. The PLR0524P is available in the space-saving DFN-10 package configuration and is rated at 60 Watts peak pulse power per line for a 8/20μs waveshape. This device meets the IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), 61000-4-2 (EFT) and 61000-4-4 (Surge) requirements. It can protect up to four lines. ESD protection is > 25 kilovolts. The PLR0524P is RoHS and REACH compliant.
