AVX Corporation has extended the working voltage range of its RF multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) from 100 VDC to 250 VDC. The SQCA Series includes a capacitance range of 0.1 pF to 100 pF in a 0605 case size. Intended applications include microwave RF/IF amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filter networks, and MRI system applications. The series purportedly provides up to 40% lower equivalent series resistance than previous versions. From $0.35.
