Compact MKP Caps Offer Capacitance Values to 75 uF

Compact MKP CapsTDK-EPC introduced the B3279* Series of types of EPCOS MKP film capacitors for AC output filters. These capacitors feature rated voltages of 250, 300, 350, and 400VRMS; capacitance range from 0.82 µF to 75 µF; encapsulated in UL-94V-0 plastic case; radial terminals for PCB mounting; and operation up to 105oC. A typical application for the new series is an output filter module (e.g. LCL) in star connection in a three-phase power converter (DC/AC or AC/AC). The capacitors can also be used in single-phase systems.
