Quadrature to USB Adapter Eases Encoder Verification

U.S. Digital announced the release of its latest encoder interface device, the QSB (Quadrature to USB) adapter. Encoder verification is asserted to be made easy with the QSB, which allows simple interface of standard quadrature encoder signals into a PC USB port. Single ended (QSB-S) or differential (QSB-D) encoder versions are available. The QSB-M version supports single ended encoder input, digital I/O and step/direction motion control output. Features include USB bus power for encoder; field upgradeable firmware; reads quadrature, PWM, and analog encoder signals; and a motor step/direction control output option.
