Twelve-W DC-DC Converters Tout Ultra-Wide Input Range

MicroPower Direct announced the A1200RU series, a family of high performance 12W DC/DC converters packaged in a compact 24 pin DIP package. Standard features include wide 4:1 inputs; 1,600 VDC isolation; high efficiency and single & dual outputs. Fourteen models operate from wide 4:1 inputs of 9 to 36 VDC or 18 to 75 VDC, providing outputs of 3.3, 5.1, 12, 15, ±5, ±12, or ±15 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1,600 VDC, efficiency to 90 percent, and robust filtering. All models include continuous short circuit protection, overload protection and are compliant to EN55022 & EN6100-4. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the A1200RU series is greater than 1,000 khours.
