Tact Switches Endure 100,000 Cycles

Achieving an electrical rating of 50 mA at 48 VDC, CIT Relay & Switch’s CS1110 Series SPST tact switches works for an electrical life of 100,000 cycles. The 6.2 mm² devices offer an optional grounding tab, J lead or gull wing termination, and board-to-top actuator lengths of 2 mm, 2.3 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3.1 mm with a positive tactile feed. The RoHS-compliant switches exhibit dielectric strength of 1,000 Vrms, min. insulation resistance of >100 MO, actuation force of 160 ± 50 gF, and travel of 0.25 ± 0.1 mm. The products have an operating and storage temperature from -40°C to 85°C in automotive, telecommunications, security, instrumentation, audio, and medical applications.
