PrAMC Platform Contains 64 Cores

Using the Tilera TILE64 processor, JumpGen Systems’ T6M-100 AdvancedMC (PrAMC) platform consists of 64 cores of general purpose and signal processing compute coupled with over 20 Gbps of full-duplex I/O running at 700 MHz. The single-wide board supports dual AMC.2 Type 6 or Type 5 10 GigE interfaces with 10 Gbps SFP+ on the front panel, and dual AMC.2 Type E2 GigE interfaces. The RoHS-compliant platform includes 2 GB ECC DDR2 memory running at 800 MHz; RS-232 Serial and optional SFP+ front panel I/O; and full- and mid-size AMC configurations for AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA and proprietary architecture systems. The component hosts wireless radio network controllers (RNCs), multimedia gateways, media transcoders/transraters, session border controllers, modular servers, firewalls, and deep-packet inspection appliances. The integrated Tilera Multicore Development Environment (MDE) supports C/C++, standard programming paradigms, and tools for multicore debugging and optimization.
