Modules Drive Power Transistors in DC/DC Converters
Utilizing a DC to DC converter with 2.4W output power, Schurter’s PSDM Series of drive modules also use a low-side gate driver in driving power transistors (IGBT/MOSFET). The devices’ drive signal is transferred by a pulse transformer or optoisolator and can be used as a voltage stabilizer/power distributor. The modules are built to EN 61248-5 and EN 61558-1 standards. Two versions of the series include a high-side gate driver and internal circuitry that switches off in fault conditions. The devices are appropriate for switching regulators, industrial power supplies, and density switchers.
