High-speed machine-to-machine module enables connectivity on the Sprint Network

Telit Wireless Solutions announced its DE910-DUAL [1] cellular M2M module is now tested for compatibility on the Sprint Network. A dual-band CDMA [2] 1x EV-DO Rev. A module, the DE910-DUAL allows Sprint M2M Solutions [3] customers to deploy a wide range of M2M applications that will benefit from reliable, high-speed connectivity over Sprint’s nationwide network.

The DE910-DUAL [4] packs a rich feature set in its ultra-compact 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.05 mm Land Grid Array [5] (LGA) package. gpsOne [6] assisted GPS and autonomous positioning with simultaneous GPS [7] and GLONASS [8] support make it ideal for location-based services (LBS [9]) applications requiring extremely reliable, precise, and fast location information. Extended operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C make it a suitable platform for mobile and fixed applications exposed to outdoor environments such as vending, point-of-sale (POS [10]), and telematics devices.

Part of the xE910 form factor [11] family, the DE910-DUAL [4] protects investments by offering complete backward compatibility to 1xRTT and EV-DO Rev. 0. For more information about the DE910-DUAL module and other Telit products, visit www.telit.com [12].
