Panel Mount Connectors Include Dip Solder Contacts

Binder-USA announced the addition of 7/8" panel-mount connectors with dip solder contacts to the Series 820 and 870 connector family. With the dip solder contacts the connectors can now be mounted to a PCB board. The 7/8" connectors are ideally suited for power supplies, Fieldbus and Ethernet applications. The new receptacles are available in both male and female versions with 2+PE, 4 and 4+PE gold-plated contacts. Front- and rear-mountable positions allow for the receptacles to be mounted from the back or front of a panel. All versions have UL approval, and an IP67 rating ensures the connectors are protected while used in harsh environments. In order to make a complete connecting system, the receptacles will mate with the field-attachable connectors and cordsets from the entire Binder 7/8" connector family.
