Synchro Resolver-to-Digital PC-104 Card Touts Versatility

synchro to resolverData Device Corporation (DDC) introduced a new PC/104 card offering one to four channels of fully independent synchro-to-digital or resolver-to-digital (S/R-D) conversion. The SB-36330CX can be configured for an 11.8-V line-to-line synchro/resolver, 90 V line-to-line synchro, or 2-V sin/cos signal input, and 10-, 12-, 14-, or 16-bit resolution. Each channel provides a separate reference input which is auto-ranging to accept a reference signal from 2 Vrms to 130 Vrms. The SB-36330CX operates over a wide -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range and includes AquadB encoder emulation outputs for motor control applications. Users can also define the functions of 16-bit opto-isolated discrete I/O (8 bits input/8 bits output) to fit custom applications.
