Marine-Grade Monitor Incorporates Resistive Touchscreen

Advantech FPM-8192VReceiving IEC-60945 and IACS-E10 approval for marine industry applications, Advantech’s FPM-8192V 19" SXGA TFT LCD with transflective display integrates a resistive touchscreen. The DNV-certified device accepts up to 4 common video inputs, including VGA, DVI, S-Video, and Video, as well as 3-stage PiP (picture in picture) with floating and resizable windows. The unit exhibits front OSD control with PiP, which can check multiple inputs, such as navigation/GPS, wind, vibration, and temperature, to allow multiple displays on a single monitor. The product provides dimming control knobs for backlight brightness; transflective technology to modify brightness for piloting during the day or night; and support for Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
