Logic Device Family Acts as Inphi Replacements
Supporting data transmission rates up to 13 Gbps and clock rates from 13 GHz to 26 GHz, Hittite Microwave’s HMC744LC3C-HMC749LC3C 3.3-V logic devices are designed to replace Inphi devices. The family consists of the HMC744LC3C 1:2 fanout buffer, the HMC745LC3C XOR/XNOR gate function, the HMC746LC3C providing AND, NAND, OR, or NOR logic functions; the HMC747LC3C D-type flip flop; the HMC748LC3C 2:1 selector, and the HMC749LC3C T flip flop with reset capability. The 3-mm × 3-mm SMT units offer typ. propagation delay from 90 ps to 125 ps, typ. rise times from 18 ps to 22 ps, fall times from 17 ps to 22 ps, 2-ps deterministic jitter, and power dissipation from 240 mW to 287 mW. Applications include optical systems, ATE, broadband test and measurement equipment, frequency synthesis, and radar signal processing systems.
