Stereoscopic Display Targets General Apps

Targeting applications such as photogrammetry, computational chemistry, and virtual simulation, the StereoMirror SD1710 3-D/stereoscopic display from Planar Systems supports 1,280 × 1,024 resolution in stereo. Two LCD monitors separated at a 110° angle with a semitransparent mirror bisecting the space between the two monitors generates stereo separation when used with polarizing glasses. This creates a stereoscopic 3-D image that retains the full resolution, response time and color saturation of the individual monitors. The 20-inch SD2020, 24" widescreen SD2420W and 26" widescreen SD2620W support up to 1,920 × 1,200 resolution.
