Pulse Pattern Generator Exhibits Low Jitter

Simptronik SK-1500ULJPerforming in a frequency range from 2 MHz to 1.5 GHz, Simptronik Technologies’ SK-1500ULJ pulse pattern generator creates digital clock and data signals with rms jitter of <0.5 ps. The instrument demonstrates 5-digit frequency resolution, a rise/fall time of 180 ps, an amplitude range from 100 mV to 3 V, and a touch-screen control interface. Built-in PRBS or customer data patterns are available. The 1.6" × 3.8" ×  7.3" device is constructed of aluminum and weighs 1.5 lbs.
