SAS/SATA Host Adapters Deliver 8-GB/s Connection

Utilizing PCI Express 2.0 and 6-Gb SAS speeds, ATTO Technology’s ExpressSAS H608 and ExpressSAS H680 SAS/SATA host adapters supply a full-duplex connection to SAS/SATA storage of up to 8 GB/s. The ExpressSAS H608 offers 8 internal lanes of connectivity, and the H680 offers 8 external lanes of connectivity, each providing up to 1.200-MB/s maximum full-duplex throughput per lane. The components provide full driver support for Windows, Linux and Mac environments, are backwards compatible with 3-Gb SAS and SATA devices, and use Advanced Data Streaming (ADSTM) technology for I/O performance by controlling the acceleration of data blocks.
