Ultrasonic Sensor Withstands Harsh Environments

Banner T30UXUsing an IP67 (NEMA 6) housing and fully-encapsulated electronics, Banner Engineering’s T30UX U-GAGE-housed ultrasonic sensor performs in hostile environments. Applications include liquid level monitoring in tanks; Web loop control, slurry monitoring in vats; clear bottle detection; automotive glass detection, and repeatable detection of targets of various color. The device offers a sensing range from 100 mm to 3 m, a single analog or user-configurable discrete output, and built-in temperature compensation. The unit utilizes push-button TEACH-mode programming for sensor setup, and presents remote TEACH, LED status indicators, a 30 mm threaded barrel, and mounting brackets.
