Shielded SMD Power Inductors for use in Portable Electronics

Renco Electronics, Inc. announced the expansion of the RL-8100 Series of Shielded SMD Power Inductors. This series now has seven package sizes with a total of 125 standard inductance values up to 180 uH and current capabilities up to 3.50A. This 4.1 mm × 4.1 mm × 1.8 mm series has a DC resistance as low as .018µ. The series boasts desirable solderability, current rating and shielded construction. Typical applications are in DC/DC Converters, portable electronics and laptop computers. Pricing starts at $0.18 each in quantities of 1,000 pieces.
