Chip Resistor Features Tight Tolerances

ec7npc808a-LIRC Advanced Film Division offered its LR Series 2W current sense flat chip resistor in a 2512 package that features a copper conductor element on an alumina substrate with wraparound copper terminations and a protective overcoat for increased stability. Applications include DC/DC converters, automotive electronics, power supplies and battery chargers. Also available in 1206 and 2010 sizes and rated at .5W and 1W respectively, the series features a resistance range from 0.002 ohm to 1 ohm with tolerances to ±1 percent, TCR to ±100 ppm/°C and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 200V. Operating temperature range is from -55°C to +150°C. The resistor is available with standard 60/40 tin/lead plating or with lead-free terminations. Devices outside these specifications are available to meet customer requirements.
