Laser Diodes for Print, Defense and Medical Applications

Intense Ltd. announced its Intense-HPD Series 6100, 980 nm high power single emitter laser diodes. They are high brightness, single mode lasers with up to 200 mW of kink-free power, and they provide high beam quality with low astigmatism and a Gaussian far field. Applications include print and imaging, point-to-point communications, medical imaging, optical storage, sensing and detection, and aerospace and defense. The diodes are available in wavelengths of 980 nm ±5 nm and 980 nm ±10 nm. The lasers are available in a selection of standard packages including 5.6 mm, 9 mm and C-mount. Monitor photo diodes are optionally available on the 5.6 mm and 9 mm packages.
