Software Tool for Enclosure Design

IMS released a software tool to aide in the design of enclosure configurations. This web-based product configurator features a point and click approach to enclosure design. The process starts by choosing a cabinet size and adding available accessories. The tool allows the designer to place accessories in exact RU location in the rack that best the users specific design requirement. Results include a bill of material for specific configuration; a drawing of configured console for visual reference – with accessories mounted in place. A virtual image to zoom in and out of and 360° view for specific image details is also included.
