Shielded Compact Ribbon I/O Interconnect System

ec78pi801a.JPG3M Electronic Solutions Division introduces its brand shielded compact ribbon (SCR) I/O interconnect system that consists of an assortment of 10-pin shielded I/O connectors and accessories. Built around a robust ribbon style contact interface for repetitive plug/unplug applications, the SCR system’s contact is capable of carrying either signal or power, allowing flexibility in the location of power supplies to peripheral devices. These connectors are available in board mount applications as a right angle through-hole male plug and vertical surface mount male plug or in male and female wire mount variations. All of the connectors are 360° metal shielded for increased resistance to EMI and RFI. The system can be used in place of IEEE 1394 or 9-pin D-sub connectors.
