Low-power OCXOs in 14-Pin DIP or SMT Configurations

MOFLMMD Components (Monitor & Quartztek) introduced a line of low-power oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs) with options for an AT, SC or IT cut crystal design. The MOFLP Series OCXOs are appropriate for battery-powered applications and as suitable replacements for the Vectron EX-380/385. These OCXOs provide fast warm-up and low power usage, with typical current consumption of 120 mA during start-up and under 70 mA in steady-state operation at 25ºC for a 3.3V DC unit. Customers can also specify an operating voltage of 5V, temperature ranges from -40ºC to +85 ºC, and frequencies from 1 MHz to 125 MHz. The units are offered in an industry-standard 14-pin DIP (dual inline package), a gull-wing surface-mount version, or an SMD configuration. Prices start as low as $100 each for units with frequencies under 40 MHz and in quantities of 100.
