Fairchild Semiconductor Sponsors Turkey Trot Fittest Firm Competition

Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), a leading global supplier of high performance products to drive energy-efficiency, is pleased to participate in the Applied Materials 'Silicon Valley Turkey Trot'?. Fairchild is sponsoring the Fittest Firm Competition, one of several "races within the race", which challenges every company in Silicon Valley to register as many employees as they can for the race. This year's participation in the Fittest Firm Competition has more than doubled with over 190 companies and 1100 participants, up from 78 companies and 550 participants in 2008.
