We kicked off the new school year by talking about teaching our kids how to save energy at home [1], followed by more great information about electric vehicles [2] which can save at the gas pump when we’re driving our kids to school events.

No matter what age our kids are, from toddlers to teens and beyond, talking about saving energy can be a fun way to bond with them. This year children can learn even more if their school participates in America's Home Energy Education Challenge [3].

How about you? Do you teach your children how to save energy at home, or about driving efficiently?

Each week, you have the chance to share your thoughts on a question about energy efficiency or renewable energy for consumers. Please comment with your answers, and also feel free to respond to other comments.
