SWUGN Year in Review - July 2009
Top Story
The SWUGN Summit - Columbus draws 105 attendees, far above the expected turnout. The event features 10 different presenters, and is represented by 5 different user groups. Many of the presenters were doing their first ever sessions, and all of them did an outstanding job. The hands-on 3D controller session by Dan Bertschi was also the first of it's kind at a Summit [1] event.
Honorable Mentions
The new SolidWorks Forums [2] are launched to much fanfare. The new (and working) search tool makes the entire effort worthwhile.
Ricky Jordan gets lost [3] on his way to visit relatives. He eventually finds his way, but not before everyone on Twitter gets to hear the story - LIVE.
The SolidWorks World Call-for-Papers [4] is announced. Now we can all get really excited.
