The XchangE autonomous concept car from Rinspeed — engineered by 4erC — takes a Tesla Model S and modifies it into a luxury vehicle that you don’t need to drive. Is this the future of automobiles?

Rinspeed, a Swiss “Idea Factory” completed redesigned the interior to resemble business-class airline seats. The normal front seats were replaced with rotatable chairs that can face any direction — including the back seat.

Underlining the point that the XchangE probably won’t be cheap, the concept car includes a 32-inch, 4k monitor in the rear seat, real-time sensor data to enable vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, and various other high-tech capabilities and features.
Rinspeed will officially unveil the XchangE at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
