According to Dr Noah Raford, special adviser to the Office of the Prime Minister, the drones will have a range of 3 km at 40 kph and carry up to 1.5 kg.

The UAE quadcopters will ferry drivers licenses and other government documents and will eventually include fingerprint and eye-recognition security systems.
