Computer networking supplier Emulex Corp. said it is buying analytics provider Endace Ltd. for $130 million.

The all-cash deal announced Wednesday will expand Emulex's product line to include for monitoring and improving the performance of computer networks.

Emulex expects to close the deal before the end of its fiscal third quarter in March. The company, which is based in Costa Mesa, Calif., said the addition of Endace won't affect its adjusted earnings during its current fiscal year and then would start increasing its profits during the fiscal year ending in June 2014.

Endace is based in New Zealand, but also has a sales and marketing office in Sunnyvale, Calif.

Emulex's stock price added a penny to close at $7.02 Wednesday before the acquisition was announced.
