TOKYO - Japanese trading house Itochu Corp. said Wednesday it and Toyo Engineering Corp. will build a 400-megawatt gas-fired thermal power generator at the Avtozavodskaya power station in Nizhniy Novgorod, Eastern Russia.

Itochu signed a memorandum to this effect with Russian mining company En+ Group Ltd. on Tuesday, planning to begin construction of the generator using a gas turbine made by Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. next year.
