CACI International Inc. said Wednesday that it received two task orders worth a combined $72 million to provide information technology services for the Department of Justice.

The government information technology contractor said the orders were awarded under an existing $1.1 billion contract that it won last year. The work is designed to help the U.S. government boost productivity and cut costs, CACI said.

The orders include a $59 million order for engineering and IT infrastructure services, along with data center support, for the DOJ's justice management division. The order has a five-month base period and five option years, CACI said.

The other order is worth $13 million and involves providing office automation operations services to the DOJ's criminal division for a five-month base period and five option years, the company said.

Shares of Arlington, Va.-based CACI rose 75 cents to $44.86 in afternoon trading.
