WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (AP) - Online marketing company ValueClick Inc. said Tuesday that John Giuliani will be its chief operating officer, a role that the company says will help it integrate management across its divisions.
Giuliani was previously the CEO of Dotomi, a marketing company that focuses on personalized ad campaigns. After ValueClick bought it in August, Giuliani was president of ValueClick's Dotomi division.
Giuliani will oversee multiple ValueClick divisions in the U.S., including ValueClick Media, Dotomi, the Commission Junction marketing unit and the Mediaplex technology business.
The president of each business will report to Giuliani. The company's European operations will continue to report to CEO James Zarley.
Giuliani also sits on the board of directors.
ValueClick shares rose 3 cents to $19.97 in afternoon trading.
