Micro Power Electronics, Inc., a subsidiary of Electrochem Solutions, Inc., announced that Jeffrey VanZwol, Vice President of Marketing for Micro Power, will speak about battery power innovations at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Seth Fletcher, editor for Popular Science magazine, is moderating the panel titled “Portable Power: The Quest for Longer Lasting Batteries” and Mr. VanZwol will join additional panelists and industry veterans Dan Friel of Leyden Energy, Joseph Keating of Infinite Power Solutions and Bret Lewis of the Wireless Power Consortium to speak on this topic.
“Mobile device users continue to expand the applications running on their devices, and battery performance becomes more essential to their business and social interaction,” said Mr. VanZwol. “This session will provide a progress report on the new battery technologies that will improve the user experience with mobile devices.”
The panel session will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall N258 in Las Vegas.
Mr. VanZwol has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of technical marketing including product management, product marketing, marketing communications, and partner management. He has extensive presentation experience on a wide variety of battery topics and has presented at conferences such as Advancements in Battery Technology and Power Management Conference, Battery Power, Power Systems World, and the Military Technology Conference.
