The roundtable will show CFOs and finance teams how they can leverage the work of Climate Savers Computing to meet a variety of sustainability objectives. The interactive discussion will highlight real world case studies from Climate Savers Computing members to demonstrate how CFOs can make IT decisions that help both the environment and the bottom line.
CFO’s attending the roundtable will hear how best practices, whitepapers and the catalog of energy efficient computing products from Climate Savers Computing have helped save more than $2 billion in annual energy costs. They will also be among the first to learn what is coming next from Climate Savers Computing workgroups including new guidelines that will help finance, procurement and IT teams more easily evaluate networking computing products for energy efficiency.
“We’re excited to be at CFO Rising West where CFOs will have the opportunity to learn from members of Climate Savers Computing who are leaders in driving sustainability through Green IT and the use of power management on PCs and networked computers,” said George O. Goodman, executive director, Climate Savers Computing Initiative.
