CACI International Inc. said Monday it reached a deal with Bank of America N.A. to buy back 4 million shares of its common stock for a total of about $209.7 million.

The deal was part of a stock buyback program previously approved by the company's board, CACI said.

CACI said it bought the 4 million shares under an accelerated share repurchase agreement at an initial price of $52.42 per share, the company's Friday closing stock price

The shares will be immediately excluded from CACI's outstanding share count. As a result, the company said it now expects its fiscal year 2012 diluted share count to be about 28 million.

In afternoon trading, CACI Class A shares rose $2.31, or 4.4 percent, to $54.73.
