Ultra Compact, Green 150 W AC-DC Power Supply Fits 2x4 Footprint

XP Power has launched the ECP150 series of
highly efficient and extremely compact open frame 150 W AC-DC power supplies.
Measuring just 4 x 2 x 1.26 inches and with a power density of 14.88 Watts per
cubic inch, the series complies with UL/EN/IEC60950-1 and UL/EN/IEC60601-1
safety standards for medical and IT equipment. In addition, the units have a no
load input power of less than 0.5 W and a typical efficiency of 91%, helping
the end equipment comply with internationally recognized energy efficiency
initiatives.Operating from a universal input of 90-264 VAC, there are five single output models available within the range, covering the nominal outputs of 12, 15, 24, 28, or 48 VDC. A 12 V/0.5 A output is also provided to power an external fan if required. Up to 100 W output is achieved by convection cooling alone, and with only 15 CFM of forced cooling the full 150 W output is available. The ECP150 has a wide range of operating temperature from -20 to 70°C that suits most environments. Full power output is available up to 50°C with derating above. No additional heat sinking is required.
