Data storage company NetApp Inc. said Wednesday it agreed to buy Akorri Networks Inc., a privately held provider of data center management software.
Financial terms of the all-cash deal were not disclosed.
Akorri, based in Littleton, Mass., lets its customer identify bottlenecks and improve storage capacity in their data centers, NetApp said.
The deal is expected to close in NetApp's fiscal fourth quarter, which ends in April.
Shares of NetApp climbed $1.39, or 2.4 percent, to $59.647in morning trading.
