100 and 150-Watt Power Supplies Are Com-pact, PCB-MountTDK-Lambda has unveiled its latest addition to its ZWS line of compact AC-DC pcb-mountable power supplies. The single-output ZWS-BAF series are 100- and 150-watt supplies that accept a very wide AC input range, have a low profile of 1.3 to 1.45 in. and compact footprints of 2.44 x 6.1 in. or 3 x 6.3 in.

These open-frame supplies feature a universal 85-264 VAC, 47-63 Hz input, with PFC, enabling them to be used anywhere in the world. Plus, they can operate from a 120-370 VDC input. The ZWS-BAF is designed to withstand 3 kVAC, input-to-output. The series are available with an output voltage of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, or 48 VDC, all of which have a ±10% adjustment range.

With convection cooling (no fans required), these supplies provide up to 150 watts of output power. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 70°C with derating above 50°C to 50% load. The output is floating so it can be used as either a positive or negative polarity.

Optional remote On/Off connections are provided to allow for remote control of the supply. The operating power-saving efficiency is up to 90%. Other standard features include overvoltage and overcurrent protections. The input and output connections mate with standard JST connectors.
