“Curtiss-Wright’s hybrid potentiometer technology will enhance the performance of the STRYKER combat vehicle’s suspension system,” said David Adams, co-chief operating officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. “We are very pleased that our rotary potentiometers have been selected by General Dynamics Land Systems.”
The contract calls for delivery of the rotary potentiometers beginning in the fourth quarter of 2010. Curtiss-Wright will develop the potentiometers at its Penny + Giles, Christchurch, UK facility, and will ship the systems to GDLS, in London, Ontario, Canada.
