Microsoft Corp. plans to raise $4.75 billion with a new bond offering.

The software giant said that the new notes will come in four different groups: $1 billion worth of three-year notes with an interest rate of 0.875, $1.75 billion of five-year notes at 1.625 percent, $1 billion of 10-year notes at 3 percent and $1 billion of 30-year notes at 4.5 percent.

Microsoft said this week it plans to close the sale on Monday.

Shares of Microsoft Corp. slipped 8 cents to $24.53 in trading Thursday.
