Microsoft CEO's compensation up 6 percent in 2010
A regulatory filing shows Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer's compensation package was worth 6 percent more in fiscal 2010 than the year before.
Ballmer was granted a pay package valued at $1.3 million for the year that ended in June, according to an Associated Press calculation of figures disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Thursday.
Ballmer's salary rose 1 percent to $670,000. His bonus rose 12 percent to $670,000.
