Subminiature Compression Load Cells Offer Reliability and Space Efficiency

The subminiature series VLC856 compression load cells are small in size with diameters from 0.38 in. and heights of only 0.13 in. These load cells deliver 0.5% accuracy for ranges from 10 to 1,000 lbf. Micro-welded stainless steel construction provides for a much more repeatable, reliable, and rugged product. Standard output for the Model VLC856 is 2.0 mV/V and electrical termination consists of a four-conductor Teflon cable with braided stainless-steel shielding and an integral temperature and zero balance board. The VLC856 is temperature compensated from 70 to 170°F, and the temperature effect on zero and span is minimal at 0.01%/°F, ensuring reliable performance. These load cells have a standard operating temperature range of -40 to 250°F, with an optional operating range from -65 to 400°F offered. These units feature a static overload capacity of 150% (FSO) and are perfectly suited for a variety of demanding limited-space applications.
